Tracy Rapp, with Jews for Jesus, will answer that question as she presents “Christ in the Passover” at the Christ the Victor, located at 6173 E. Arizona Farms Road in Florence at 7:00pm tonight. Project Connect – An event brought to you by the community of Casa Grande Chronic Homeless Coalition in partnership with the United Way. Free on-site services provided will be Rental Assistance, Vision Screenings, Employment Assistance, Tax Assistance, and many more! Project Connect is a one-day, one-stop event to provide assess to free services, resources and referrals for commuity members. The location of this event is St. Anthony’s Community Center, 150 N. Drylake St., Casa Grande, from 9:00am to noon.

March 23rd & 24th

Journey to Jerusalem at Desert Sky Baptist Church. A pageant on the half-hour and the hour will be held with refreshments to follow. Friday times are 6:00 to 8:00pm. Saturday times are 4:00 to 7:00pm. Desert Sky Baptist is located at 891 W. Kortsen Road in Casa Grande.


April 1st

All are invited to a Community Resurrection Celebration at The Property Conference Center.  There will be a free continental breakfast at 9:00am and the service begins at 10:00am. The message, “Nobody’s Fool” will be brought by Pastor David Landry, senior pastor of Calvary Chapel of Casa Grande. The Property Conference Center is located at 1251 W. Gila Bend Highway.

April 21st

Spring Shred Day – Residents are invited to safely dispose of their personal and confidential documents at this event hosted by the City of Casa Grande Youth Commission and First American Credit Union. This popular shredding event is open to the public from 9:00am to 12:00 noon and there is no charge to shred and recycle up to five boxes of material. A donation to the Youth Commission is encouraged for those with more than five boxes to shred. In addition to shredding services, the City of Casa Grande Sanitation Division will also be hosting an E-Cycle event onsite to recycle old unwanted electronics. Acceptable items include computer monitors, keyboards, televisions, cameras, phones, and household batteries.


May 5th

SUPER Fun Inflatable Run – The City of Casa Grande Community Services Department and Limitless Events, LLC have been working diligently to bring fun, exciting and new events to the Casa Grande community. They are thrilled to be hosting the SUPER Fun Inflatable Run from 8:00am to 1:00pm today at Carr McNatt Park, 1115 N Brown Avenue. This event is geared towards youth ages 4 to 14 and will include several inflatables, along with other obstacles and challenges for kids to test their SUPER powers. After the kids complete the obstacle course, families are invited to enjoy a free kid zone featuring vendor booths, food trucks, and more.
